  4. Adapted Physical Education /Recreation Therapy

    • Focus on fitness: aerobic, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition

  5. Parent Support Program
    • Regular opportunities for parent information, discussion, and support.
    • Frequent contact and interaction between school and home, including home visits
    • Parent participation in the school environment for observation, training, and practice in the instruction of their child.
    • Information about additional support groups in the community.
  6. Community Support Services
    • Consultation with participating school division personnel.
    • In service training.
    • Follow-up on center students returning to the local school divisions.
    • Coordination with physicians, therapists and other agencies involved with the family.
